Master-at-Arms 2nd Class Lance Shults, from Mt. Pleasant, Texas, teaches a high block during non-lethal weapons training in the hangar bay of the Navy’s only forward-deployed aircraft carrier, USS Ronald Reagan.
Shults led the class as part of security reaction forces basic training.
Ronald Reagan, the Carrier Strike Group Five (CSG 5) flagship, is on patrol in the Philippine Sea supporting security and stability in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
