Trio arrested for stealing ATV

Before daybreak on Tuesday, July 19th, Titus County Sheriff’s Deputies were contacted by man who lives on the 1600 block of County Road 1030, in Titus County.

The man told deputies he had discovered that earlier in the night, someone had stolen an ATV from his residence.

He further reported to deputies that he had received information that he might locate the stolen ATV in the area of East First and Lawn in Mount Pleasant.

Deputies conducted a short but intensive investigation, locating two more adult males associated with the incident

Through that investigation, probable cause was developed that led to the arrest of 26-year old Geovany Memije, 17-year old Tristan DeWade Bostic, and 21-year old Matthew Tanner Attaway.

The three men were arrested for the offense of Theft of Property valued equal to or more than $2500 and less than $30,000. This offense is classified as a State Jail Felony.
