The Mount Pleasant Ministers Union, the NAACP and the Mount Pleasant Police Department came together for a prayer vigil at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at the Bell Tower downtown. The purpose was to join together in prayer for peace and harmony and to show support for the victims of the Dallas Police ambush Thursday night as well as show solidarity in our community.
