The 2016 Mount Pleasant Rodeo is being held Thursday through Saturday, June 9-11, at the Priefert Arena. The formal kick-off was held Wednesday at noon with a ribbon cutting conducted by the Mount Pleasant Chamber of Commerce.
The traditional conclusion of the opening event for the annual rodeo is turning the horses loose in the arena for The Running of the Broncs.
