Cooper filed campaign report late

The signature page in Cooper's report indicates she did not make the report until April 11.
Texas law stipulates opposed candidates in local elections must file a report of election contributions and expenditures 30 days before Election Day.

With the upcoming city council election day set for May 7, Mount Pleasant City Secretary Darlene Denman was to receive these reports by 5 p.m. Thursday, April 7.

Nine of the ten candidates met the April 7 deadline, as reported here on April 9. The one who didn't, Place 4 candidate Kellye Cooper, filed her report the following week.

The information is as follows:

Place 4: Kellye A. Cooper, 207 S. Van Buren Ave, Mount Pleasant, Tx. 75455. Telephone 903-572-7610.

Campaign Treasurer: John R. Anderson

No contributions from outside sources. Total expenditures of $1,487.03.

Expenses:

$824.65 - Designer Graphics - Tyler.
$662.38 - Reimbursement to Jon Anderson for expenditure to Design Graphics.
