TCSO arrests man for drugs
On Tuesday, March 15, the Titus County Sheriff’s Office conducted an investigation involving a residence located on West 18th Street in Mount Pleasant.
During the investigation, probable cause was obtained to believe that Kevin Tremayne Williams, possessed marijuana for sale. An affidavit listing the facts establishing probable cause and requesting a search warrant for the address was presented to Justice of the Peace Kay McNutt, who after reviewing the documents agreed that probable cause existed and issued a search warrant as requested.
After receiving the search warrant the Titus County Sheriff’s Office traveled to the suspected place and executed the search warrant.
Williams was located inside the residence and after a search; marijuana was located and seized along with currency believed to be the proceeds from the felony offense. Williams was arrested for Possession of Marihuana >4oz. <5lbs. and transported to the Titus County Jail without incident.
