Meet the new addition to the NTCC Sustainable Demonstration Farm - "Boss Hog".
He has an important job to do - he takes mulch and produce scraps from our garden and soon our cafeteria and turns it into a great compost to add to our gardens.
Later he will be utilized by our animal science classes to learn general health and care procedures for swine.
Lastly he will processed and become a great source of pork products.
