MPHS student is PSAT top scorer

Mount Pleasant High School Junior Carlos Barboza has scored in the top 2.5% on the PSAT among all Hispanic and Latino test takers in this region. Overall his score is in the 96th percentile, meaning he scored as well or better than 96% of all juniors in the nation who took the PSAT.

Barboza, the son of Juan Barboza and Rosa Rojas, is ranked 5th out of 330 students in the MPHS Junior Class. He is an active participant on the Academic UIL Math team.

MPHS has eight Juniors who scored in the 90th percentile or better on the test.
