The Mount Pleasant Fire Department say that although we had a nice amount of moisture yesterday, outdoor burning today is NOT ADVISABLE. We are experiencing high winds (15 MPH with gusts up to 22 MPH) and lower humidity. Once the sun starts to shine this afternoon it will dry vegetation out, causing it to burn quickly.
