Mount Pleasant Fire Department members have been deployed as part of the TIFMAS (Texas Intrastate Fire Mutual Aid System) Strike Team and arrived in Amarillo Thursday morning. The firefighters have checked in to Staging. Conditions across the state are extreme for fire danger at this time.
