Titus County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a burglary of the Talco Quick Track store which occurred at approximately 12:25 AM on Friday Morning, January 08th. Burglars gained entry to the store through an exterior wall. Once inside, the burglars forced open an ATM removing its contents, as well as other items from the store.
Titus County Sheriff’s Investigators have knowledge that a white or light colored 4 door pickup, possibly a Toyota Prerunner towing a boat on a trailer was seen traveling west on FM 71 shortly before 1:00 AM. The pickup pulling the boat arrived from the east on FM 71 and continued west.
Investigators believe that the driver of that vehicle was likely a witness to some of the activity associated with the burglary but may not have realized it.
If anyone knows who the driver towing the boat might be, they are asked to relay that information to the Titus County Sheriff’s Office at (903) 572-6641.
