In the last 24 hours there were five arrests for; three for misdemeanor theft of property, two for possession of a controlled substance.
One of those arrested for possession tried to smuggle more drugs into the jail. His efforts were thwarted by a jailer that was able to find the suspected drugs during a search of the inmate.
Great job to that officer and those that stop drugs and other contraband from coming in the jail.
