Chapel Hill Director of Food Services, Sherry Eargle, was among 36 participants from all over Region 8 ESC and Region 7 ESC that participated in the Child Nutrition Managers Academy. This 7-part learning series covered an array of topics including leadership, organizational skills, the administrative review process, and culinary arts.
Region 8 ESC Child Nutrition Specialist Mrs. Lydia Going described the objective of the series as a way “to prepare better leaders who could see the vision of the district as a whole, and the department to provide services to kids.”
Mr. Levesque was excited to stop by and watch Mrs. Eargle as she was recognized by Region 8 ESC Child Nutrition Specialist Deneen Carter and presented with her certificate of completion fro 56 hours and a custom apron!
