Run-off election for district clerk is next Tuesday

I am Esther Holliday, Republican, running for District Clerk.

After working in the legal system for almost 10 years, I see an opportunity to better serve my community. I've been an office manager for a local attorney’s office (5 years), assistant to a title attorney, and am currently the Senior Legal Assistant to the Titus County Attorney (4 years).

My current responsibilities, which are similar, to the District Clerk's, are keeping accurate records with state software, setting court dockets, balancing office accounts, and preparing case files for court. My experience in judicial office settings sets me apart from my opponent and gives me an advantage to transition easily into the position.

Outside of work, I am a mother of two beautiful girls (19 and 17) and married to Tim Holliday. I have been a volunteer with the Titus County Fair for 5 years and became the 5k Chairman in 2016. I am also on the Cinco De Mayo and Glowfest Committees, responsible for helping plan and pull off both events.

From ringing bells for Salvation Army, packing bags for children at Titus County Cares, volunteering with the Chamber, and even a couple stints coaching little league softball, our family loves to give back to this generous community. I excited for the opportunity to serve Titus County in a new way.
My experience has prepared me to fulfill the duties of the office of District Clerk and I ask for your vote! Thank you and God Bless!
