Chapel Hill's Erica Hernandez finished 3rd at the Region II-3A Tennis meet. She lost only three games in the first two rounds. After narrowly losing to a two time state qualifier in the semifinals 5-7, 4-6, she rebounded to convincingly win the bronze medal 6-0, 6-2. This puts her as one of the top 12 singles players in the state for 3A.
