Margarita Heath of Mount Pleasant passed away Sunday, December 31, 2017 at 72 years of age. She was born in San Antonio on December 12, 1954 to Gilberto and Aurora (Ortegon) Torres.
Margarita was a 30 year CNA having worked most recently for Health Care Plaza. She was a member of the Argo Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Joe Heath of Mount Pleasant, Texas; brothers, Alex Torres, Benjamin Torres and his wife Candy, Ricardo Torres and his wife Sylvia, Alfonso Carlos Torres and his wife Anna; sisters, Alice Martinez, Elizabeth Medellin, Rachel Torres, Rosa Rogers and her husband Alvin, Carman Hernandez, Esther Perez and her husband Cosme and Sarah Giffin; numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, and her two brothers, Ralph Torres and Robert Torres and his wife Thelma.
