Thursday night's "Go Tejano" theme was an awesome start to the 53rd Mt. Pleasant Rodeo, which featured top notch competition from all the cowboys and cowgirls; Jerry Diaz put on an amazing performance.
Friday is Family Night at the rodeo and they'd love to see all of community out there having a great time and supporting the contestants. There will be mutton bustin' and a calf scramble for the kids, as well as a mechanical bull for kids of all ages.
The weather is looking perfect so come out. The show starts at 8 p.m.
