Lemonade Day is coming

Lemonade Day is coming to Mount Pleasant on Saturday, May 6th!

Small groups of 2nd-4th graders from Mount Pleasant, Harts Bluff and Chapel Hill ISDs are working now on their business plans and recipes to create the very best lemonade stands you have ever experienced! These stands will be set up all over the city, including downtown as part of Cinco de Mayo on the Square - Mount Pleasant, and these young entrepreneurs need YOUR support!

As we get closer, they will be publicizing the locations of all the stands and their hours of operation. The participants are taught to set goals for how much they hope to earn, how they will spend what they keep, how much they will save and with what charitable organization they will share a portion of their profits.

The more they make, the greater this experience will mean to them. And that is were YOU come in! Plan to grab a stack of cash and do business with our youngest Chamber members - the future business owners and leaders of Mount Pleasant.

Every child deserves the opportunity to determine their destiny. Lemonade Day provides them with the opportunity to set goals, make plans and achieve their dreams. One day, they may be the one who puts Mount Pleasant on the map in a whole new way with their second business. Their lemonade stand is their first. Let's help them taste success.

Stay tuned for stand locations and hours!
