Join Mount Pleasant Habitat for Humanity during National Women Build week, as they help families build strength, stability and independence through shelter.
Mount Pleasant Habitat is announcing its 2017 National Women Build Week May 6-14. Lowe's will be hosting a"How To" Clinic on Saturday, April 22, from 10:00 - 12:00 noon.
Habitat is having its "Framing the Home" Women Build media day on Saturday May 6, starting at 9:00 a.m. at 908 E. 9th. Street and for those ladies who might not be able to attend the Saturday Build, they are excited to offer another build day on Tuesday, May 9, starting at 8:00.
They won't leave until all volunteers who want to come out and help work on "Framing the Home" have left!
Come help Habitat help the newest Partnered Family with its 2017 home project! Organize a team, bring a sister, mom, friend or just show up!! Habitat is challenging women to come together to help a family achieve their dream of having a safe and affordable place to live! Please take up this challenge and join Habitat for a hour, two hours or all day!
