Four weeks ago the MPISD and the Mount Pleasant community endured a tragedy when the boys track bus was hit. Coach Angelica Beard lost her life and the bus driver, Coach Van Bowen, severely injured. On Thursday Coach Bowen practiced getting in and out of cars and using his crutches on stairs because he has been cleared to return home Friday.
