As many of you are probably aware, there have been some issues with traffic backing up at the north entrance of the NTCC campus around 8 a.m. during the week.
The college is looking at ways they can improve the traffic flow in the parking lot to help prevent this, but here are some suggestions to help keep things moving in the mean time:
• If possible, please try to arrive a few minutes early. Traffic has only been an issue at just before/after 8 a.m.
• Use the South (main) entrance and park behind the Whatley Center. Some people don't realize it isn't much farther from most classroom buildings than the North parking lots.
• Those of you driving in from Highway 11 (Pittsburg/Daingerfield) should use the south (main entrance) and drive up behind the student services/admin building to avoid the line of cars waiting to turn right into the campus from FM 1735.
Please use caution and pay careful attention for your own safety and others.
