Kids Overtake Police Station

A large group of kids on summer break having a family reunion came to the Mount Pleasant Police Department Wednesday afternoon showing their love and support for their police officers, who were given cards of appreciation, drinks, fruits and cupcakes.

The department had a lot of fun when they came and the kids got to watch the 911 Communications Center in action.

"Thanks for laughs, cards and food," said Chief Wayne Isbell. "You were awesome."
