Officer thanked for quick thinking
SWEPCO has publicly thanked Mount Pleasant Police Officer Mark Stacks for his quick thinking and response to an emergency on Thursday, Oct. 8.
A broken pole on on S. Florey Street at Azalea created a problem for many people trying to navigate this intersection. According to SWEPCO External Affairs Manager Jennifer Harland, "Officer Mark Stacks quickly responded to keep the public safe as we developed a restoration plan."
"SWEPCO would like to recognize Officer Stacks for his actions, as well as, the city employees who showed up with barricades and assisted. Electric service was restored and everyone was safe thanks to Officer Stacks assistance," said Harland.
