Members from Cypress Basin Hospice presented a certificate of appreciation to the Titus Regional Medical Center EMS Ambulance Service on Monday, August 6, 2018. The certificate of appreciation recognized TRMC’s EMS Ambulance Service for their dedication to serving the community of Mount Pleasant, Texas and the Deep South Racing Association (DSRA) during Quake on Town Lake July 21-22, 2018 at Town Lake Park.

The partnership between TRMC and Cypress Basin Hospice through Quake on Town Lake weekend has spanned over many years. A dedicated emergency response team is required on site during all DSRA events for the duration of the boat races. Each year, TRMC dedicates a unit on site at Town Lake from morning to evening, ensuring Quake on Town Lake follows DSRA regulations and that an emergency medical team is available should any racer or spectator need emergency medical services during the event.

Cypress Basin Hospice is appreciative of Titus Regional Medical Center for their willingness to partner with Quake on Town Lake year after year and look forward to a continued partnership throughout future events.
