Two and a half miles of CR 1200 were recently seal coated by the County Road Crew led by County Road Engineer, Roger Ledbetter. This section of two lane road starts just north of the bridge over the old mine haul road. Now that they have the seal coating process down, it is being put to good use on higher traffic county roads. CR 1200 (Old Paris Road) serves many residents in North West Titus County.
Also the City of Mount Pleasant has just had their section of Old Paris Road resealed from by the Junior High out to the city limits. The section that the County just resealed compares favorably to the section in the city.
